The Letter G

Little Miss No Nap had a full day. We went from church (which she called the "big house") to Target, Circuit City and home for lunch. After no nap, she played for awhile and ate. Then we went to the China Star where Pete and I ate supper. [Our condo was entirely too warm to thing about cooking. We only have windows on the east and get absolutely no fresh air unless there is a good breeze.]

When we got home from the restaurant we got the stroller out of the trunk and went for a stroll around the neighborhood before heading to Cash Wise for milk. We walk to the supper market like we live in a small town!

When we got home at 8 Pete put Gen's jammies on (he is bedtime guy) and read Gen her "monkey book" - a Curious George alphabet book. Gen when to bed willingly for the first time in a while. Lately she has just been so mad that it is bedtime. Is it something about being two??

Gen was quiet after Pete left the room. Usually she talks and sings until she falls asleep. At 8:30 I opened the door and had to get Pete to take a look too. She had fallen asleep with her head on the "G" page of the monkey book! So tired!
