Spilled Milk

Pete made me cry at lunch today. He said Gen was probably old enough to drink out of a regular cup. At least he gave me a hug after he said it.

For supper Gen and Pete had a chicken pizza. (Cash Wise had a coupon today for buy one get one Green Mill pizza. It looked good, but cost $10.99! With the coupon it was about the same price as a DiGiorno, but we definitely won't be buying it without a coupon.)

Anyway, Gen got a small glass of milk and sat in Daddy's chair. At first things were fine. Then Gen decided to put a piece of pizza in the cup. She ended up spilling the milk on her lap and we scrambled for towels. I ended up taking her pants off. As soon as Pete and I sat down, Gen put another piece of pizza in her milk. Turns out she didn't like the chicken pizza with white sauce. She went on to eat a waffle and spill some more milk on her lap. Pete is giving Gen a bath.

I guess the lesson to be learned is this: When introducing Gen to new things we should probably go over some basic guidelines. Next time.
